A DMX controlled blackout shutter for use with projectors.
Many projectors "bleed" a little light even when they are supposed to be projecting a black screen. In theatrical applications when the stage goes to a blackout or dim lighting level this projector bleed can be visible on the projector screen as a grey glow.
This projector shutter can be fitted to the projector to block this light bleed and prevent the objectionable grey glow.
The shutter is supplied with 2 cam straps, anti slip mat and safety bond for attaching it to the projector - it will fit on most medium and large projectors. If you need to fit it to a small projector please contact us for advice.
The shutter has a 5 pin DMX input connection but no loop through. Alternatively it can be powered by the following brands of scroller power supply units: Chroma Q, Rainbow, Rosco, Forerunner, Spectra Q. NOTE: It is not compatible with Colouram powersupplies.
