Introduction to JS Stage & Event Services

Established in 2004 and based in Wantage, Oxfordshire, JS Stage & Event Services provides technical equipment and production services to a diverse client base in and around Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.

We serve events large and small, corporate presentations, theatrical productions, music events, festivals, parties and more.
Our engineering background facilitates the design and implementation of installation projects in all manner of different performance spaces.

Our core business areas are:

    Rental and sales of lighting, sound, power distribution, staging, video, effects and all associated
    equipment.
    System design, set-up and operation of the above equipment.
    Permanent installation projects into new, old and recently modified venues.
    Equipment maintenance and repairs, including portable appliance testing (P.A.T.)
    Operational training.
    Bespoke equipment design, manufacture and commissioning

As you will see when browsing through this website, JS has a large stock of hire equipment from many leading manufacturers. Great care has been taken to ensure that the hire stock comprises high quality products whilst realising the need for competitive pricing.

Items listed in the sales section are usually held in stock whilst all other sales items will be supplied to order. JS is able to supply equipment from most manufacturers of entertainment lighting, sound, staging, effects and associated equipment.

If you can’t see what you’re looking for on the site please contact us. Our stock is under constant review and is continually updated and expanded. We also have re-hire agreements with other hire companies that enable us to supply their equipment at their published prices. Just because an item may not be listed does not necessarily mean that we can’t supply it.

A significant proportion of our workload comes from the design and implementation of installation projects. A typical example would be a new performing arts venue still at the design stage, JS might be brought in to design and / or install the performance specific technical systems required to make the building fit for purpose.

JS appreciates the importance of good customer service. We will always endeavour to process enquiries as quickly and efficiently as possible, however we do request that bookings are made as far in advance as possible as this assists us to manage stock levels and staff workload.

We are able to provide operational training on any of the products that we supply and also on many products that we don’t. If you have equipment that you don’t think you’re fully utilising, contact us for a training quote.

Our well equipped in house workshop enables us to carry out extensive equipment repairs and maintenance. It even enables us to manufacture bespoke parts for circumstances where stock items do not fulfil requirements.
